I've joined Team Feed to help end hunger in America. No one should go without a meal, yet Feeding America estimates 42 million people in America may face hunger this year due to the pandemic. I created this fundraiser to help provide these much needed meals to our neighbors through the Feeding America network of food banks and I'm asking you to join my in my cause.

Every $1 donated helps provide at least 10 meals. It only takes a little to make a big difference.

As a writer, I wanted to use my talent to help a very worthy cause against poverty. I’ve written a semi-autographical novel called Sparrows inspired by my own childhood growing up very poor in South Georgia. My siblings and I experienced extreme food insecurity on a regular basis. Understanding firsthand the pain of hunger, I want to shine a light on the issue that persists all across the USA, particularly in these difficult times of pandemic. 

I want to help in the fight against hunger any way I can. Therefore, for every copy of Sparrows sold, I have decided to donate a dollar to Feeding America.
