I’m planning on walking across America beginning in late February of 2023.  My nonprofit Hiking for Charity will be sponsoring this inaugural hike that will traverse the American Discovery Trail to raise awareness and funds for Feeding America; they represent 200 food banks in America.  During my walk I will be leading groups of volunteers to help at the various food banks and pantries along the trail.  We(my hiking team) will also be building and enhancing gardens(5-10) that support local community pantries or food banks. Burpee Seeds will also be sponsoring the gardens with seeds, plants, tools & support, while Seed to Feed will do the actual build outs.  We will also be hosting a few “Stone Soup Events” where we will work with local restaurants to raise funds for Feeding America.  

Every $1 donated helps provide at least 10 meals. It only takes a little to make a big difference. Will you help in my fight to end hunger?
